Seif Al-Islam Osama was arrested as a minor on August 3, 2014 from Damietta al-Jadida by a thug who assaulted him with bladed weapons and dragged him to the police armored vehicle, and from there he was taken to the New Damietta Police Station. He was charged with several crimes, including demonstrating without a permit andcarrying two banners and a tattoo. He was detained pending investigations under case No. 2970 for 2014, the new Damietta administration. The military court in Damietta sentenced him to three years in prison and a fine of 50,000 pounds on August 4, 2015. – Violations: – Assaulted by beating and bladed weapons during his arrest by thugs – offered to the prosecution without the presence of a lawyer – tortured by farskor section – intransigence in visits and short duration, limited to the delivery of some needs only – detention with adults – medical negligence, as he suffered skin diseases and shortness of breath and was deprived of treatment.
