Mahmoud El-Sayed was arrested in his house on September 30th, 2015. He was detained under case No. 699 of 2015 Supreme State Security for demonstration without permit. On November 19th, 2015, he was released on parole. Yet, the decision was not implemented and he was forcibly disappeared until he appeared on December 12nd, 2015. He was rotated under a new case No. 11078 of 2015 Al Matariya, Administrative. He was detained on remand and was released later. On March 17th, 2016, he was sentenced in absentia with a ten-thousand L.E. fine. He was subject to:
