Alaa Ibrahim’s house in Alexandria was raided. She and her husband were arrested and taken to an unknown place on August 14, 2018, leaving behind a seven-month-old baby girl. She remained under enforced disappearance until she appeared before the prosecution on August 26, 2018, in case No. 1260 of 2018, Supreme State Security, which ordered her imprisonment pending trial. Although she and her husband regularly presented themselves to the prosecution, their place of detention is unknown. On May 15th, 2022, she was sentenced to three years of aggravated imprisonment.
