Ayatullah Alaa was arrested on June 17, 2019 from Al Sheikh Zayed while offering condolences to former President Mohamed Morsi. She was taken to an unknown location. She remained under enforced disappearance until she appeared before the prosecution on June 29, 2019 and was investigated under case 640 of 2018, Supreme State Security . She was imprisoned in the El Qanater prison. She was renewed until she was released on precautionary measures on December 24, 2019. The measures were cancelled on 16 February 2019. Violations she was subjected to: – Enforced disappearance for approximately 12 days.
