Alexandria security forces arrested Eman Ali on February 24, 2018, following a field event in Abu Suleiman. She was presented before the prosecution, which ordered her to be detained under case No. 1887 for 2018, Second Raml Administration. She was imprisoned in Damanhour prison and was renewed until she was released on April 26, 2018. It is reported that she has had a cartridge in her back for two years.
