Heba Allah Najm El-din was arrested along with others from the vicinity of the Supreme Court and the Journalists’ union on January 25, 2014, amidst the events of the third anniversary of the January 25 revolution. She was presented before the prosecution and investigated under case No. 1292 of 2014 Misdemeanor Al-Azbakeya, and a decision was issued to imprison her under investigations. She was sentenced on March 15, 2014 to two years imprisonment with labor, and placed under probation for an equal period of imprisonment. She was transferred to Qanater Prison, then she appealed the verdict and was acquitted on June 22, 2014.-Violations she was subjected to: She was assaulted in the Qanater prison massacre, which led to her bruises that left traces on her body.
