Ibrahim Abd El-Raaof was arrested as a minor in Warraq amidst September 20 events on September 22, 2019. He was forcibly disappeared until appeared before the prosecution on September 24, 2019 under case No. 1338 for 2019, Supreme State Security . He was charged with participating in a terrorist group in achieving its purposes, publishment of false news, abusing social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. The prosecution ordered his detention pending investigations. He was released on October 13, 2019.
