Marawan Nasr was arbitrarily arrested as a minor in Alexandria on December 27, 2013, charged with demonstrating without a permit and assembly under case No. 210 for 2014, juvenile misdemeanour. He was detained pending investigations. The Child Misdemeanours Court ordered his release on bail of 10,000 pounds on April 2, 2014 and suspended the claims under the adjudication of adult lawsuits.
