Madiha Ahmed was arrested in Cairo on March 1, 2019. She remained forcibly disappeared until she appeared on March 9, 2019, under case No. 488 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged for participation in an activity of a terrorist group, using social media sites to promote the group’s ideas, and spreading false news. Her detention was renewed until she was released on 10 September 2019, with precautionary measures that were cancelled on 17 February 2020. – Violations she was subjected to: Enforced disappearance for more than a week.
