Sherifa Ezz El-Din was arrested in Tahrir Square on March 1, 2019. She remained forcibly disappeared in Al Jabal Al Ahmar camp until she appeared on March 9, 2019, under case No. 488 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with participation in an activity of a terrorist group, using social media sites to promote the group’s ideas, and spreading false news. Her detention was renewed until she was released on September 10, 2019, with precautionary measures that were cancelled on March 30, 2019. – Violations she was subjected to: enforced disappearance for more than a week, during which she was tortured and electrocuted – no lawyer attended the first hearings.
