Mohamed Sayed was arrested as a minor in the street in Cairo on March 2, 2019 and was forcibly disappeared for about ten days. He appeared before the State Security Prosecution on March 11, 2019, accused under case No. 488 of 2019, Supreme State Security , known as the “Safafir case.” He was charged with participating in a terrorist group in achieving its purposes and spreading false news.
