Mohamed Tarek was arrested in the street in Suez on his way to visit his friend on July 14th, 2015. He was forcibly disappeared for 15 days. Then, he appeared and was presented before the prosecution on July 29th, 2015. He was detained on remand under five cases. A decision was issued to release him in all of cases on bail. After paying the bail, he was transferred to the National Security headquarters where he was tortured. He was charged under new cases that were created under torture.Then, he appeared in Ataqa Central Prison on April 22nd, 2017. He was forcibly disappeared then appeared in mid-May 2017. He was detained and he disappeared again in October. Then, he appeared before the State Security Prosecution on November 2nd, 2017. He was detained on remand under the case No. 760 of 2017 the Supreme State Security Known as (Hasm Terrorist Vanguards). He was forcibly disappeared again to appear on February 20th, 2020. He was detained on remand under case No. 1530 of 2019. Then, he was released on November 5th, 2020. It is noted that he obtained many acquittals: 6 acquittals, and 2 charges reattributed to unknown persons as of June 2016. It is also noted that he was listed within terrorist lists on June 26th, 2018. He was subject to:
– Enforced disappearance for multiple periods.
– Intransigence in his release and rotation for many times.
– Beating and torture.
