Najat Mohamed was arrested in Al Marg Metro on June 4, 2015. She was taken to Al Marg station. She was presented before the prosecution and charged with demonstration without a permit, inciting riots and resisting the authorities, committing crimes to join a movement founded in violation of the provisions of the law, calling for the disruption of the constitution, preventing state institutions from carrying out their work, using force and terrorism to overthrow the country’s regime and calling for a June 11 strike. She was imprisoned pending investigations in case No. 4549 for 2015, Al Marj Administration, registered under No. 3173 for 2015, Al Marg Misdemeanor. She obtained a release on 1,000 pounds bail on 23 June 2015. She was sentenced in absentia on February 29, 2016 to three years in prison, a fine of 500 pounds, and confiscation of the written materials and charged with expenses. – Violations she was subjected to: – She was beaten, tortured, harassed and threatened with rape – threatened that her mother and sisters would be beaten and tortured- a National Security officer asked her to work as an informant, and when she refused, he electrocuted her, beat her, and kicked her in the abdomen with his feet; then he cut parts of her hair to force her to agree, but she kept refusing.
