Shaimaa Mohamed was arrested during a visit to a prisoner in Waday Natrun prison on June 6, 2018. She was included under case No. 570 for 2018, Supreme State Security . She was accused of joining a terrorist group and receiving financing for the purpose of terrorism, consisting of a number of postal transfers that were made between them periodically. It is noted that the majority of the defendants in the case are relatives of the detainees. She was remanded in custody until she was released on 12 September 2019, and the measures were cancelled on March 1, 2020. – Violations: – Her child was infected with a liver virus during her imprisonment and she could not care for him – she went on a hunger strike to protest against ill-treatment.
