Mona Salama Ayyash Bakr

Mona Salama was arrested in Galbana area near Al-Qantra on June 30, 2018 and taken to an unknown destination until she appeared before the prosecution on July 2, 2018, charged under case No. 570 of 2018, Supreme State Security . She was charged with joining a terrorist group and receiving funding for them for terrorist purposes, as shown by a number of regular mail transfers. It is noteworthy that the majority of the defendants in the case are relatives of detainees. She was imprisoned pending investigations and her detention was renewed to her until she was released with precautionary measures in September 13, 2019. The measures were cancelled on March 2, 2020. She was arrested again in 2020 and forcibly disappeared until she appeared before the State Security Prosecution on April 5, 2020. Her detention is renewed and she is still imprisoned until now – Violations she has been subjected to: – enforced disappearance for a period – prevented from visits and other means of communication for months starting from the Corona crisis.
