Souad Mohamed was arrested amidst the events of September 20, 2019 and forcibly disappeared until she appeared before the prosecution on September 25, 2019, under case No. 1338 of 2019, Supreme State Security . She was charged with participating in a terrorist group in order to achieve its objectives, broadcasting and disseminating false news, misuse of social media, and participating in a demonstration without a permit. She was imprisoned under investigations, and her imprisonment is still being renewed. Violations to which she was subjected: enforced disappearance for days; prevented from visits and other means of communication for months beginning with the Coronavirus crisis.
