Alaa El-sayed was arrested from inside the University of Zagazig on March 16, 2019. She was forcibly disappeared until she appeared on April 25, 2019 under case No. 650 of 2019, Supreme State Security on charges of joining a group established contrary to the provisions of the law. The prosecution ordered her imprisonment pending the case, and Her detention is still being renewed. Violations she was subjected to – enforced disappearance for more than a month – deterioration of her health due to poor conditions of detention – prevention of visits for periods.
