Abd El-Rahman Magdy was arbitrarily arrested in Alexandria as a minor on May 30, 2014 and taken to the Security Directorate, where he stayed for two days before being presented before the prosecution. The prosecution ordered his detention under the case No. 993 of 2014, child’s misdemeanour. He was acquitted on November 26, 2014.
