Security forces arrested Ghada Abd El-Aziz on May 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from her family’s home. She was taken to an unknown location and forcibly disappeared until she appeared on June 8, 2017. She was charged with joining Sinai State under case 79 of 2017, Supreme State Security Prosecution and no. 1000 for 2017, Supreme State Security , registered under no. 137 for 2018, Military Crimes. She is still imprisoned in El Qanater prison – Violations: – she was subjected to enforced disappearance for more than a month – for two days, she remained tied to a chair unable to move; the clamps even left a mark on her hands, to the extent that someone was scared when they saw it; she also said one of them was carrying an electric object that he hit on her hands and left a mark that is still present – she lost weight and refused to eat food because of her poor mental condition; her health began to deteriorate and she began suffering from nerve infection and could not carry things; she would wake from sleep unable to feel her foot and hands; this continued for awhile and it was said to be from her poor psychological state – she became afflicted with shortness of breath that repeated each week because of problems in the lung. She begins crying and then cannot take a breath, and she loses consciousness. Sometimes she is transferred to the hospital and put on oxygen in order to regain consciousness – prevented from visits and other means of communication for months starting from the Corona crisis.
