Hadeer Ahmed was arrested in a coffee shop in downtown on February 27, 2019 and forcibly disappeared for 4 days. Then she was presented to the prosecution under case No. 1739 of 2018, Supreme State Security . She was charged with the participation in a terrorist group to achieve its goals, and the use of social media accounts to broadcast false news. The prosecution ordered her to be detained pending investigations and is still renewing it. – Violations: – Enforced disappearance for 4 days – she was persecuted, as she is transgender and was forced to undergo medical examinations on her body and genitals by male doctors, which she and a lawyer proved in the interrogation sessions with them – prevented from visits and other means of communication for months starting with the corona crisis.
