On April 6, 2023, at 3 AM on Thursday, she and her friend Mervat were arrested after writing anti-regime phrases on Al-Ma’adi Bridge, heading towards Nasr City. They were stopped on Al-Tayaran Street Bridge in Nasr City by National Security. They were detained, and their personal belongings were taken. Heba was taken to her house, and a sum of 350,000 pounds, her share from her father’s inheritance, and 14,000 dollars in transfers from her sister were taken. Her laptop, her bag, and Mervat’s bag were also taken. They were taken to National Security in Abbasia and questioned about the groups ‘Your Voice Reached Us’ and other groups associated with it.
